Where do we start?
Parents with questions or concerns about their child’s stress and anxiety may have trouble getting good information and advice on what to do to help their children.
- You might not be sure if it’s time to speak to a professional
- Self-help books and websites are often of questionable quality and validity and content can be too general.
We are working with a therapist, but would like to be more informed.
Parents whose children are already receiving treatment for a condition often have difficulties because:
- You might feel under-informed and unable to evaluate the appropriateness of various treatment techniques.
- You might not be included or only minimally involved in the therapeutic process and are left looking for ways to be able to better understand your child’s problems and to support his or her progress.
